Im Projekt Neocarp wird der klassische Teppich neu gedacht. Neo- carp ist eine Art Symbiose aus den Funktionen des Bodenbelags und dem Potential der Stricktechnik (z.B.: der endlose Faden, Elastizität, Nadelabzug). Ziel ist es einen Teppich zu entwerfen, der zugleich als Bodenbelag, Möbel und Raumkörper fungieren kann. Neocarp is a kind of symbiosis of the functions of the floor covering and the potential of knitting technology (e.g. the endless thread, elasticity, needle withdrawal). The aim is to design a carpet that can function as a floor covering, furniture and spatial structure at the same time. The work is supported by TISCA Austria.
